Convent boy planted in primary school to impress Bill Clinton

Lucknow : To "impress" Bill Clinton during his visit here, a convent school student was reportedly made to sit in a primary school allegedly by the authorities, following which the Uttar Pradesh government has taken cognizance of the matter. According to the report published in a Hindi daily, a class eight student of a convent school was included in a group of students, who had to meet Clinton during his visit at a primary school in Jabrauli village on July 17. The student was given admission in the school without transfer certificate and marksheet in a haste and was also provided uniform to "impress" Clinton, the report alleged. According to the report, principal of the convent school said that on July 17 the father of the student had applied for special leave. When asked about the matter, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said, "We take all your reports seriously. Whatever is there in the media is being taken seriously by us".
